The 2024 BOMA/Chicago Holiday Food Drive will begin on November 4 and end on December 20.
BOMA/Chicago has partnered with the Greater Chicago Food Depository (GCFD) since 2008 for the annual holiday food drive. We have provided over 2 million pounds of food to the Chicagoland community. Last year, we raised $43,682, and our goal is to beat that this year!

Promote your page on Captivate and lobby signage, emails, and social media to get your employees and tenants to donate. The marketing toolkit can be found here. Please contact cwright@bomachicago.org for personalized QR codes or if other dimensions are needed.
Maximize your impact with matching gifts. Do your tenants and/or company offer a matching gift program? If you’re interested in sending a check or ACH gift or have someone interested in matching your fundraiser, please send an email to fooddrives@gcfd.org so that your team receives full credit in the leaderboard.
If you want a physical food drive, GCFD no longer provides logistic support (pickups, drop-offs, donation bins). Donations can be dropped off at GCFD's warehouse or directly with a local pantry partner. Details can be found here.
Engage further by signing up for a volunteer repack session or behind-the-scenes tour at the Food Depository facility. You'll be able to see the impact of your virtual donations in person and experience our mission in a hands-on way.
