Learn about a new grant opportunity targeting the LaSalle Street Corridor!

Under Mayor Lightfoot’s LaSalle Reimagined Initiative, the City of Chicago has authorized $5 million in grant funding for projects that activate ground-level storefronts, lobbies, and former banking floors with pedestrian-oriented commercial and cultural uses.

Grants of up to $300,000 are available for buildings on LaSalle Street, between Court Place and Van Buren. A map of the area eligible for assistance can be found below.  Applications will be accepted from 9 a.m. September 1 through 5 p.m. October 2, 2023.

Join BOMA/Chicago, World Business Chicago, and the Chicago Loop Alliance to learn details from representatives from the City of Chicago and SomerCor Inc., the SBIF program administrator. Interested buildings will be asked to provide information about their available spaces.
